Ecological Improvement of the Boilers K2, K3, K4 in the Třebovice Power Plant
Technoprojekt prepared a Tender documentation for a choice of contractor. The aim of the executive project was to complete documentation of flue gas ducting to desulphurization of the boilers K2, K3 and K4 in the Třebovice Power Plant.

Reduction of Emissions of Solid Pollutants, NOx and SO2 on the Boiler K14, Heating Plant E3
A new boiler following the existing 3 functional boilers in the heating plant. Technoprojekt prepared the planning permit documentation, the building permit documentation which included engineering, and, further, provided also a new boiler trial operation, including commissioning.

Natural Gas and Oxygen Supply from the Mixing Station at the Blast Furnace Canteen to the Foundry Blast Furnace No. 2
A key subject of the action was to prepare a design documentation for execution of new natural gas and oxygen connection pipes at the area of the company ArcelorMittal Ostrava. A subject of the design documentation is new natural gas and oxygen supply from the mixing station at the blast furnace to the foundry blast furnace number 2. The newly supplied media will serve us in putting into operation a new (oxygen-fuel) torch igniter of the blast furnace No. 2 which installed input is 3.5 MW.
The particularly designed documentation consists of the natural gas and oxygen inlet piping, and the design of the control line of natural gas and oxygen for the torch igniter of the blast furnace number 2. The total length of the installed piping is 70 m.

Desulphurization of Waste Gases of the 660MW Block in the Ledvice Power Station
The Ledvice Power Station burns up brown coal of calorific value 11 – 13 MJ/kg from the Bílina coal mines. Technoprojekt provided consultation engineering including the basic design coordination. The design addressed the unit of the output of 660 MW equipped with a wet waste gases desulphurization technology.

Desulphurization of Waste Gases of the 660MW Block in the Ledvice Power Station
The building scope was based on the project to reduce discharge NOx concentrations in waste gases of brown coal burning boilers. A set of primary and secondary measures to denitrification allowing their further operation according to legal requirements effective since 2016 had to be made in four of the six boilers at the Opatovice Power Station. The project is a part of the “Opatovice Ecological Program“. In addition to the mentioned project, Technoprojekt, a.s. prepared also building permit documentations for the following projects:
Retrofit of the existing desulphurization (variant 2 – new desulphurization) and reconstruction of the desulphurized waste gases stack (DESOx).
A replacement of existing electro separators.

Replacement of Existing Electro Separators in the Opatovice Power Station
A building scope design was based on the location of the required technological equipment for solid pollutants separation. Existing electric separators are replaced by cloth filters in four boilers of six boilers at the Opatovice Power Station. A part of the work is also the replacement of exhausters and other auxiliary technological equipments needed to separate solid pollutants in this way. The project is a part of the “Opatovice Ecological Program , in which Technoprojekt, a.s. prepared, in addition to the mentioned project, also building permit documentations for the following projects:
Retrofit of the existing desulphurization (variant 2 – new desulphurization) and reconstruction of the desulphurized waste gases stack (DESOx).
Retrofit of the boiler room (DENOx) .
